Listening to Rush (the band not the jackass) and reading how SI has picked my beloved Calgary Flames for the next Stanley Cup champs!!! Let's all bow our heads and pray that the SI jinx will not work this time. Even though we (me and Mr. Little ol' Me) don't live in Calgary any more, our blood still bleeds Flame Red! Hoohaa...Let's go Flames!!!

Ok, so where have I been? Mucho busy...had a garage sale last weekend, my yard looked like a standard redneck/white trash yard. Two couches, a small fridge, lawn furniture, skiis, fishing poles...the only thing missing were a few cars. The sale was successfull even with rain on Saturday.

We are going to Vegas again baby!! This trip is courtesy of work...last year they put us up at the Venetian (fabulous) and this year it's the Mandalay...can't wait! Free food and free booze (had a little too much Merlot last time...but that story is for another post my friends!). While my better half is in meetings I shall gamble, shop, drink, shop...I think you get my drift. As the Pointer Sisters said...I'm So Excited...And I Just Can't Hide It!

So work has been work. It's end of the month which means long hours. My better half (BH) and I work at the same place so we are both sharing the same misery. Yes, you heard me right, BH and I work at the same place. We had doubts, but ended up loving it!

Hello everyone! Happy peak of the week yesterday...did everyone have a drink to celebrate?

So I have to say, I stumbled across the Mrs America pageant last weekend and was shocked! Slap my ass, jaw dropping shocked! Why?, you ask? Mrs Wyoming was not only in the top 10 but went on to the top 5...and not only that but she didn't take last place! She was 3rd runner up! Now, I'm the first to say that Wyoming has a quality of woman that doesn't really exist on either coast. We can ride horses for hours (not just on some touristy trail ride), branding cattle and docking sheep does not make us squirm, we value a nice ass in a pair of Wrangler jeans...in other words not your usual cosmo drinking, mani/pedi getting girl....not that there's anything WRONG with that! So to see one of our own make it to the top 5 was exhilirating! Congrats to Evanston...her home town.

A few random thoughts about me...

Tequila...love it...liquid gold baby!

I don't think I can love my husband any more than I do...then he does something completely selfless and random and proves me wrong.

I love Vegas! There is a story about a fight I had with a toilet in our room at the Venetian...but that is for another time my friend! (see the first random thought and you know half the story!)

I like to sing, but I don't think I'm any good.
